Across the street from the Carriage House. Sun on the beach, watch the boats, walk the shoreline.

Across the harbor from the Carriage House, within walking distance, popular area for swimming, walking to the light house, concessions, historical memorials.

Packard Park
Un-crowded, neighborhood beach with big sandbar, restrooms, and shade trees. Located a short walk south from the Carriage House.

Monroe Boulevard
A special place to enjoy the brilliant sunsets from the bluffs

Deerlick Creek Beach
A sandy, rocky beach, native Dune grass, many native species of trees and bushes, bird and wildlife watching, small safe and sandy place to swim when the lake is too dangerous. Great place for rock collectors and sea glass searchers.

Oval Beach
Oval Beach-Ranked by Conde Nast traveler as one of the 25 best shorelines in the world. This is a state park, so there is an admission fee, but it is well worth it. There are concessions, tables, and a beautiful beach with plenty of room to walk.
